How Should You Modify Your Prado?

Lately, many Prado owners have been asking me: How should I modify my Prado?
Today, I’ll introduce an off-road performance upgrade plan for the LC150 Prado.

Since the Prado LC150 has a large market presence, BP4WD offers three model versions. To provide you with the most suitable upgrade, please let me know the production year of your vehicle first.

For 2010-2013 and 2014-2017 Prado models, we have designed five front bumper options:

• Desert Rush Tube Bumper

• Desert Rush A1 Front Bumper

• Desert Rush B Front Bumper

• Compact Competition Bumper

• Attack Sand Half Bumper

Among them, the three Desert Rush front bumpers in the images are the most popular. All these bumpers come with a built-in winch mount, allowing for direct winch installation.

Why Upgrade to a Competition Bumper?

• Improved Approach Angle – The lower edge of the competition bumper is raised 20-25cm higher than the stock bumper, making it easier to handle various off-road conditions.

• Heavy-Duty Inner Bracket – Built with 6mm thick reinforced carbon steel plates, providing superior front-end protection. Even if the outer bumper shell gets damaged during an impact, the inner bracket absorbs the force, ensuring the engine bay remains intact.

• Easy Maintenance – If damaged, you can simply replace the bumper cover or weld and repair it, making it highly convenient.
